Boltly Tools

Are my files uploaded anywhere?

No. Everything runs inside your browser on your computer. Its only network use is the optional Pro sign-in with Google, which sends just your email.

What is free and what is Pro?

Free: every tool, with batches of up to 10 images or 2 videos and screen recordings up to 5 minutes. Pro: no limits. See Pro →

How do I get Pro on another computer?

Install Boltly Tools there, press Go Pro and sign in with the same Google account. There is no key to keep.

Can I get a refund?

Yes, within 7 days of paying. Email us with your receipt. A refunded key stops working.

Video compression says my browser cannot encode H.264

Update Chrome to the latest version. Video compression uses your computer's built-in H.264 encoder, which current Chrome has on most computers.

My PDF says it is protected or damaged

Password-protected PDFs cannot be edited here. Remove the password in the program that created it first. If a PDF is damaged, try opening and re-saving it in another PDF viewer.

The screen recorder has no sound from my computer

Chrome can share a browser tab's sound on every computer, but whole-computer sound only on Windows and Chromebooks. On a Mac, record a browser tab with Share tab audio ticked.

HEIC photos do not convert

Boltly Tools tries your browser's own decoder first and then a built-in one. If a file still fails, email us a sample if you can, and tell us the camera or phone model.

Why is a compressed PNG sometimes the same size?

If a PNG is already well optimized, Boltly Tools keeps the original instead of giving you a bigger file. For smaller files, try Convert to WebP.

Boltly for Flow

Boltly cannot find the prompt box or Generate button

Open a project inside Google Flow first, refresh the page once, and keep the Flow tab open while a queue runs. If Flow changed its page, email us and we will send a fix.

Chrome shows a debugging this browser bar

Flow only accepts real clicks and key presses, so Boltly for Flow sends them using Chrome's debugging interface while a queue is running. The bar disappears when the queue finishes or you press Stop.

Where do my results go?

Into your Downloads folder, in a folder named after your prompt file, numbered in order. With several outputs per prompt, Flow saves a zip for each prompt.
